Marinela Rusu

Born on 18 August, 1962 in Iasi, Romania. Married in Greece. Now lives in Romania.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- graduated from National University of Art ”George Enescu” of Iasi, Romania, class artist univ. prof. PhD Constantin Tofan;
- graduated from the Faculty of Psychology, University “Al. I. Cuza “, Iași.

• Member of the Union of Plastic Artists (UAP) from ROMANIA, Branch of Iași.
• Member of the Union of Artists& Fine Arts Pieria, GREECE, KATERINI.
• Member of the CIRCLE OF ARTS, LYON, FRANCE.

Doctor of Psychology (PHD) in 1999; Since 1990 she works as researcher in the Romanian Academy, Iasi Branch,Economic and Social Research Institute “Gh Zane”. She has a rich associate lecturer teaching in the universities of Iasi, including the National University of Arts “GeorgeEnescu” (between 1996-2008). In this way, the concern for artistic creation is enhanced by addressing the domain ofart from psychological and science view, by teaching at the Arts Academy of Iasi, courses on psychology of art,psychosociology of art, educational psychology and pedagogy. Coordinator for ROMANIA in the International Art Project ”ZONE OF FRIENDSHIP, PEACE AND LOVE”, initiated inGREECE, THESSALONIKI-NAUSSA, by MARIA LOUMPOURDI, GREEK ART UNION.

Marinela Rusu colaborated between years 2014 and 2015 with teachers-artists from Athens, on the International ProjectErasmus ”Portraits and Emotions” – AWARDED in september, 2015 by the MINISTRY OF EDUCATION ANDRELIGIOUS AFFAIRS OF GREECE. She realized many cover pages for collective volumes but also for her own edited books. From 2010, she organizes, at Romanian Academy, ”Gh. Zane” Institute of Iași, scientific internationalconferences (the VIIIth edition), with themes of Art, Psychology of Art, Ethics and Aesthetics, Intercultural Dimensionsof Art. Also, is coordinator editor of 8 collective volumes on Psychology and Psychology of art. Paintings in private collections can be found in: Romania, Greece, France.
